Hello,

I have updated the Virtual Citizenship Association's website at:

http://www.virtualcitizenship.org/

Mainly, I have removed the donation meter and contributors lists until we can better define a new campaign project, reworked the home page and social contract texts accordingly, and added a "current actions" page describing what we are currently working on.

I have also created a page to be displayed on the ryzom.org home page, to let visitors know about the new homepage, while still allowing them to access the archived ryzom.org website:

http://www.virtualcitizenship.org/static/ryzom.org/

Now, time to decide! Do you agree with the content of the virtualcitizenship.org website to define our action? The poll will run over 3 days, until Sunday January 14th, at 8pm.

"living in a virtual world gives us the status of citizen there, and our rights have to be recognized and enforced."

It sounds a little bit like science-fiction. ^^
We live in the cyberworld, it's our "second life". Scary! :?

I don't know if it's a good idea to live the virtual life as if it were real life with a complete legislation and maybe a police...
(And I don't like the real-world money involved in second life.)

But I don't have a better suggestion and I like this part:
"Also, any sufficiently motivated developer should be able to realize their own dreams, by starting their own virtual world. This vision should include making all of source code, artwork, documentation and tools available to any developer as Free Software."

so I vote yes. :)

Vote ended! I have thus changed the home page of ryzom.org and published a news on both website.

I've also finished the newsletter box, which is now working and lets people subscribe. ;p
