Quote: In a surprising turn of events, the community donated close to 200k €
Quote: The Free Ryzom Campaign, after seeing it's goal in rescuing Ryzom from shutdown fulfilled by GameForge, they kept the donations and evolved into the Virtual Citizenship Association (VCA) seeking new grounds by debating possible projects with the donated capital.
Potentially unfortunate inaccuracy? |

Well for the moment, we try to stay quiet. It is better to get less money for the moment than to attract a competitor. You know, our primary goal is not to get lot of money, it is to by the game. And it is easier if we are the only ones who want to by the game. |

| The last time around, the VCA (then freeryzom.org) was slashdotted twice. You can interpret not having been slashdotted yet as a measure of keeping under the radar. |
