Didn't really know where to post this one as it could go two ways.
Do any of you remember Wish? It was coined as the first Ultra Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game meaning it would support more than 10,000 simultaneous players in a single, seamless world, without any zones or "shards".
The best people to talk to and find out about what happened to the Wish engine and technologies would probably be the guys at Project Wish, who is trying to create it from scratch since the could not get the game when it was shut down.
And the reason for posting this here under "MMO from Scratch" is that there is the option to join Project Wish.

Oh, sorry, been a while since I looked at that project, just thought of it yesterday and thought I would post here.
How about the actual game from Mutable Realms? I was in the beta test so that game was in beta already and close to being a complete mmo which this association could buy?
Just throwing in some ideas, I would prefer to see the tools and framework for Ryzom become available to make NeL development easier ;) |
