During the beta of the game I remember there was a post on the official forum said Ryzom mmorpg was based on a science fiction romance... I would like to know the exact title and author of that romance in order to buy it somewhere :)

many thanx to the kind person will reply me ;)

To my knowledge, it is not based on a specific novel. More on a mixture of different sci-fi inspirations. The initial background started with an idea from David Cohen-Corval and was developped and written by Paul Monk.

By the way, maybe someone we could approach if the project wins the procedure ?

I heard that a french RPG editor named Multisim took part in Ryzom's development... is it only a rumor ?

it's more than a rumor ;).

Beside there are multiple inspirations in ryzom...

From Miyazaki to Asimov and lots of others.

I am sorry but this is so wrong that I have to correct it.
Ryzom was originally an idea of Philippe Nouhra and Frederic Weil. They then developped it into a full blown "universe bible" including thousand of years of history with the help of Multisim's team. Paul Monk took things up from their work, not from David Cohen.

Thanks for helping me correct the truth.
